University of Guam Nursing School of Health Nursing Extension Building

The nursing annex will help expand the island and region’s capacity to improve health care. It honors the mission of its namesake, Dr. Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima, who served as the dean of the School of Nursing for the past decade before her unexpected passing in 2022. Under “Team Margaret,” UOG’s School of Nursing has produced nearly 300 nursing graduates. The new annex will feature two floors, adding more laboratories and classrooms, with a total of 12,000 square feet of floor space.
